Blessings From Up Above

When you first talk to someone, you always ask “What’s new?”.  In my case, everything is. I started a new way of life you could say, and this way is definitely going to get me somewhere. I realized that some habbits are useless, some harmful. Like people.  Some just don’t add anything to you, and some people don’t want what’s best for you. You know it when you let go, and life reveals itself.

When you no longer worry about little things, and family becomes your top priority, you know you’re doing something right. Life is all about looking at the bigger picture. What do want to add on that wall of memories?  Pictures here and there, a couple of street artist paintings, some videos. Something to remind you of how good life is, and how to never take it for granted.  Let’s add stuff.. A high school & college degree, a pretty white wedding, trips around the world, smiles and kisses, laughs and hugs. Memories that will make me smile every time I pass by that wall.

I thank God for every little thing that makes me smile everyday, and every person that’s standing by me today, tomorrow, and forever. When you look 15 – 20 years from now, and still be able to think of things you’d wanna be doing with them, you’ll know that they’re the people to keep close, because they’re the ones hanging on to you as much as you are to them.  after-work lunch with the girls? Yes! Anniversary trip to Paris? Oh yeah. Play date with the bestie’s kids? Every week. Family dinners? Every Friday. The most important thing is not to just imagine it, you gotta live it. Make it a goal instead of a dream, because the only thing that will be able to stop your goal, is you.
