What do I see?
I see it all
The talking, judging, lying faces behind the walls
I see it all
Every person has this idealism they see fit
Something they can generalize with, something they find “legit”
What’s this cycle of role-playing that’s going on here?
You think you’re all that?
You think you’re such a dear?
Take off that mask, darling
We’re all hiding like villains
Like whoever we are, isn’t good enough
That plastic mask
Perfect plastic mask you wear
It’ll melt when the heat turns up
It’ll melt onto you, my dear
And the screaming of your soul is all you’ll hear
“SET ME FREE!”
“I WANT TO BE ME!”
Who are you to deny it?
Society, I believe, is the answer to that.
