I had a choice to make, one day
I had a choice in what to say
And everything definitely led me this way..
But where’s the U-turn?
I can’t see it!
If I turn left, will I get hit?
It’s like driving in fog, the lights are dim
And I can’t turn on a whim
Gotta park the car, ’cause I need to breathe!
Roll down the window, cold air puts me at ease
As I go numb, I come alive inside
I really don’t need to even hide, put aside, or go blind
All is fair in love and war
But, for that, I’ll fly high and soar
Up into the blue skies I saw in a dream
Something like Cold Stone blueberry ice-cream
While the white bird flies far away, and dances to a song
Thinking: “Maybe this is where I’ll eventually feel like I belong”.
