Journey to the Stars

There has been a light
In my eyes
And I never got to see it.
I never knew what I was capable of
Until I felt every ounce of emotion
That’s ever been listed in the dictionary.
I never knew that everything I felt
Would be stored in my heart forever
Sometimes, I wonder what life is like
In everyone’s eyes
Sometimes, I wonder what it’s like
In everyone’s soul
I know it’s different for everyone,
But me? I see a sky full of stars
And I am the spaceship,
Waiting to land on the moon.
